Panic

My slim hard drive was just possessed by a horrible computer gremlin. He was creating error after error and denying me access to all my saved data. All I wanted to do was hit the panic button and make it all stop. I tried everything to recover the data; download a new BIOS, check the software on the dealer's website, plugged it into another computer...and nothing. I tried not to completely freak out. My roommate was being very helpful in between the giggles. As a final resort I took apart the drive's enclosure and realized it wasn't connected. The mixture of relief and stupidity was extremely overwhelming.
